If you apply for a position that requires re-location, think carefully about the decision on which you are about to embark.
You need to consider everyone that could be effected by such a move and everyone should be comfortable with your decision. Remember, your partner may also need to make arrangements to find another job. Will this be feasible? If you have school-age children, you need to consider the effect that a move would have on their education, particularly with older children studying for exams.
Prepare as much as information as possible to ensure that everyone is well informed of the decision to move. Call local Tourist Information Centres to find out about the town/city and speak to the local Council to find out information such as local amenities, transport links and schooling.
